Oh My GOD…it’s all so PINK!!! What is this place?
Welcome to the Gillian’s Heart Blog, a b(s-i-mean)log-o-sphere usually run by Dave Baxter, regular freelance writer for such sterling examples of Comic Book Journalism as Broken Frontier.com, Comics Bulletin.com, and The Septagon Studios News Blog, plus he’s recently taken on the responsibility of Online Marketing Manager for small press comic and movie outfit, Studio 407.
(You may note that there’s a comment on this page, far below, with some dip…er…really nice fellow named Alex, t’anking me for helping out Studio 407 with some nice online coverage. And now I’m employed. You see? Be nice. Nice things come back to you. Not always. Okay hardly ever, but it HAPPENS. It DOES, dammit.)
Whew! And that’s not all – why is this called “Gillian’s Heart”? Is Dave GAY? Like Brian Andersen gay? Well, maybe, but yes, but no, it’s actually because this blog is THE official blog for the upcoming webcomic sensation by the same name (“Gillian’s Heart”, not “Webcomic Sensation”, though I have to admit that’d be a pretty fucking awesome title for a webcomic). Those panels are cut from an 8-page short which should debut shortly in an upcoming print anthology, but the WEBCOMIC will be the epic, the trilogy (that’s “trilogy” in the HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY sense, it’s all pretty open-ended), the ultimate super-heroine socio-political action-adventure pulp black comedy you will NOT find anywhere else – not remotely – except right here. On the web. At this specific URL/domain/addy. Even the rest of the web sucks compared to this small part of it. Believe it.
Co-written by myself and Gillian Horvat, with art by a man-child that everyone will know and love within a few years time, based on his work alone and not the massive shlong attached to his wire-thin frame – Rick Worley.

I’m with Studio 407 which publishes The Night Projectionist. I just wanted to thank you for your support of the book. It is much appreciated and I believe had a beneficial impact on the book.
